Air Jordan 3 “Macadelic”

This colorway of the Air Jordan 3 was inspired by two things.

Firstly, the “Flip” Air Jordan 3’s all over print on the upper contributed to the application of the mixtape cover print. Secondly, the “Encore” Air Jordan 4 collaboration with Eminem played a role in this colorway, paying homage to brand & rapper collaborations that have happened in the past with Jordan Brand.

Finally and mainly, Mac Miller’s life, sneaker history, and release of the “Macadelic” mixtape truly inspired the creation of this colorway. Remembering the life of and honoring one of my favorite rappers through a sneaker is something I’ve always wanted to do. It wasn’t a matter of if, rather, it was a matter of when I’d do it.
